A buyer may send us two LED work light photos and say, “These look almost the same, why is the quote different?” That is a fair question. From the front, many lamps do look close. The difference is usually hiding in the parts the first photo does not show.
When we quote work lights for distributors, we look past the face shape. Housing depth, bracket style, wire exit, lens layout, light function, packing method, and destination-market needs can all change the final model direction. If we do not separate those details early, the quote looks more confusing than it needs to be.

The first question we ask
We usually ask where the light will be installed before talking too much about the model. A roof rack light, bumper light, truck body lamp, workshop vehicle light, and grille warning product should not be judged from the same angle. A clean quote starts with the job the lamp needs to do.
If the buyer is still sorting the family, the Wholesale LED Work Lights and Light Bars guide is the most useful place to start. It keeps square lights, light bars, recessed styles, projector styles, and warning-style products in a clearer order.
Where the quote changes
| Visible shape | Square, round, oval, bar, recessed, or projector style. |
| Mounting detail | Bracket, screw set, wire exit, and housing depth. |
| Lighting job | Work lighting, DRL style, dual color, or warning flash. |
| Order need | Sample test, distributor range, packaging request, or repeat model. |
Sometimes the product belongs closer to warning visibility than work lighting. In that case, we will point the buyer to LED warning strobe and beacon lights instead of forcing the inquiry into the work-light page.
A better way to ask
Instead of sending one image and asking for “this type,” send two or three product URLs and mark the first choice. Add the vehicle position, quantity direction, and destination country. That gives us enough context to keep the reply short.
Useful message format: “We need one square work light for bumper installation, one light bar alternative, and one amber warning option. First sample quantity is small, destination is [country]. Please quote the first-choice model and one backup option.”
For a wider product-family decision, start with the automotive LED lighting wholesale sourcing guide. When the shortlist is ready, send it through the wholesale quote form.
