A first product range is not a full catalog. It is a test of what your customers understand, ask about, and come back for. If the first range has too many directions, the buyer may spend more time explaining the range than selling it.
When a distributor asks Wanghoi where to start, we usually ask about their customer base first. Truck accessory shops, motorcycle parts sellers, retrofit shops, general auto parts stores, and fleet buyers do not need the same opening range.

Three starter range examples
Truck accessory buyer: start with one or two LED work lights or light bars, one warning product, and one side visibility product.
Motorcycle parts buyer: start with auxiliary spotlights, motorcycle LED turn signals, and one visual DRL or tail signal direction.
General auto parts buyer: start with a few clear bulb codes from the automotive LED bulbs guide, then add one stronger visual product family after the bulb direction is stable.
Remove anything without a reason
Every product in the first range should have a reason to be there. It can be a common customer request, a visible style gap, a better margin direction, a sample test, or a product that supports another model. If the only reason is “maybe someone will like it,” leave it for later.
The automotive LED lighting wholesale sourcing guide is useful because it keeps product families separated. Use it to choose the first two or three families, then use the wholesale catalog only after the direction is clear.
A clean range request looks like this
- Customer type: truck shop, motorcycle shop, retrofit shop, fleet buyer, or auto parts distributor.
- Two or three product families.
- One main model and one backup model per family.
- Sample quantity or first wholesale quantity.
- Destination country and packaging direction.
- Any known connector, label, or market document requirement.
Once those details are ready, send the model URLs through the wholesale quote form. A clear first range is easier for Wanghoi to quote and easier for your customer to understand.
